CTSRcrew VR6
The Family wagon, is what he likes to call it , but with a 2.8L powerplant , one would be sure not to take this family wagon lightly.
The way the car hums along as its cruises is superb, with the drone that sounds like a boeing 747 taking off, it sends small shocks through the body as the motor opens up. It's not bad looking as well, chilling on 18" Lavenhart rims wrapped with 245 Nankang tires. With the asthetics we have the golf4 bonnet, projector lights , smoothed out front bumper , clear indicator lenses and famour VR6 scoop to round things off.
The stance is achieved by a 40mm koenic drop kit which makes the car not too low to the ground but satisfying to the eye. The motor produces a nicely rounded 128kw and 240nM which one would think is enough to squash most jap bugs, but with the power to weight ratio heading for the moon this is not true. The VR6 achieves the top speed of 260km/h in a few breath taking seconds and for such an old car gives the newer model GTi's and TSFi's a good run for their money.
"FUN FACT: The name VR6 comes from a combination of V engine, and the German word "Reihenmotor" (meaning "row engine" or straight engine) - and so is described as a "Vee-Row" engine."
Many of the newer model engines like the R32 , A3 , TT and the MK4 GTi? Jetta all owe themselves to the 2.8L VR6 engine which started the revolutionary VW brand we know today.
Future mods are consisting of an Induction kit , provided by Motorcade, with heat shield and a UniQ Chip, to make things a bit easier. Exhaust by powerflow and customs branch as well.
