Let's get down to it. The New Scirocco R is powered with a 2.0 TSI motor that produces a whopping 195kw and 350nm of torque, which by anyones standard is enough to get the attention of your grandmother. The monster will charge from 0-100km/h in only 6.5 seconds .The advantages of the 4 cylinder motor: very high power and torque with low fuel consumption. The Scirocco only weighs in at 1 333kg, making it a little heavier than a Citi golf with a sound system in the boot.It is a given that this Scirocco will also have an optional dual clutch transmission (DSG). Those who choose the innovative 6-speed DSG will experience an even faster sprinting Scirocco R: the 100 km/h mark drops down to 6.4 seconds here.

It has an all new front differential lock called "XDS" that will give you great traction.The R also has upgraded braking system and the XDS system. The main design of the new R was based on the Scirocco GT24, which was designed for motor sports.

The R sits on nice 18 inch alloy wheels that is very different to others in it's class. 19 inch wheels can be requested as well. As you can see it works beautifully with the shape of the car. As for the interior, with it's plush leather all in black and the blue dials that lights up the dashboard, sporty interior would be the best way to describe it. It has the new sports seats, gloss black finish console, vents and door cards replacing those found on the normal Scirocco. It also has a touch screen CD stereo, six airbags and climate control.

The R also has smoked rear lights, a lower beter designed grille and "R" logo's streaming out on most favorable places on the car.
